Hi!  

This is Lauren Curtis, Peninsula Club Swim Team Volunteer Coordinator...I am writing to ask for your help!  Our swim meets are completely volunteer run, which means that we cannot have a swim team without swim parents like you to help! We need at least two Stroke-and-Turn officials, and ideally four per meet in order to have our swim season run successfully.

Stroke and turn officials have to go through a short training in order to be certified.  These officials watch swimmers during the events to ensure that they are swimming the strokes correctly.  

We lost two stroke and turns from last year, so in order to have a healthy pool of stroke and turn judges for meets, we need to get at least a couple more team volunteers trained.  Please email me if you would be willing to be certified...I would love to get anyone, especially if you have prior swimming experience yourself.
