Hello!

Just writing to let you know we have officially hired a new Pirates Head Coach for this summer!  We are really excited to welcome Sam Burmester to our team.  I know we were all sad to see Laura retire, so I wanted to send some happy news! We met yesterday to discuss the upcoming season, and Sam mentioned he would like to organize a few fun social events throughout the summer to do some team building and get to know the kids better, nothing overcomplicated…Just some opportunities for the kids to hang with the coaches and have fun outside of practice and meets.  So...I am reaching out for some help in this area.

If you would be interested in helping Sam with ideas or planning/scheduling a few social opportunities for the kids, please email him at [email protected].  If you are a parent of an older swimmer who may be interested in helping our new coach come up with some fun ideas, they are welcome to contribute their ideas/help as well...  It would be great if we had at least one volunteer to help in this area…Let's show our new Head Coach some Pirate spirit!
