Hi Pirate Families! 

So far, we have 39 swimmers who have RSVPd for our first meet VS Village Green.  If you are planning on attending the meet, please go on our website and RSVP so Coach Sam can create the lineup. https://peninsulapirates.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

There are 33 away meet volunteer roles to fill. That means we will need all hands on deck for sure! If you are a parent that is new to swim team, if your child swims in a meet, you will need to sign up for a volunteer shift in that meet.  Read below to learn how to sign up for a shift if you are new to this: (Spots will be opened today, so please read!)

How do I sign up?

-Go to the Schedule Tab on our website. https://peninsulapirates.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

-Click on the green Job Signup Button next to the meet you would like to sign up for.

-Click on Sign up for Jobs.

-Choose a position. If you hover over the I, it will tell you more about the position. If you hover over the filled column in a particular row, it will show you who else is signed up for that position

-Check the box beside the job you would like, please pay attention to the shift you are signing up for. Events 1-35=first half, events 35-72=second half.

-Please remember to click Save Assignments when you are finished. If you forget to do that part your shift will not be saved and someone else can sign up for it.

Please email me if you have a question about a particular position. Job descriptions are in the Handbook on our website. (If you hover over the FAQ tab on the website home page, a handbook tab will appear.)  If you are a new parent to the team the descriptions can be helpful so you know what the job entails! 

I will open the volunteer spots for the Village Green Home Meet at NOON today!! Please make sure you jump on as soon as you can to get your preferred spot!

Pretty please also remember to RSVP for Coach Sam so he knows if your child will be swimming. Thanks so much for your help and support. Our swim meets are totally volunteer run, so we literally couldn't have a meet without you!
