It was a great day of swimming yesterday, everyone who attended should be proud of their performance, and it seemed like all the kids had a lot of fun! If your child is on this list, they will come back on Saturday morning for finals day! They will get a special City Meet Finalist Cap to wear to represent our team in their races as well! 

Please make sure to report to Warm Ups Saturday (time is subject to change) at 7:55AM. Be sure again to bring plenty of water for your family as well as snacks, meals, etc. Also friendly reminder to download twitter to keep track of events, and please sign up for a volunteer shift if you have a swimmer on Saturday.  A Panera bagel assortment will be at the tent for swimmers on Saturday morning, just FYI. GKAISA will be sending out a Psych Sheet for Saturday so you will know what events your child is swimming and can write it on their arms. Heat sheets will be available for purchase on Saturday as well.

According to GKAISA, they will be selling parking passes today for those that need them for Saturday at the front entry window of the Allan Jones Swimming Complex. GKAISA also said you can purchase them at UT's Parking Services building, but they are not open on Saturday. 

Please see the attachments to help guide you through Saturday. I attached the results from Thursday Prelims so you can take a look. Those who finish in places 1-18 overall for each event get to come back for Finals, with places 17 and 18 returning as alternates in case someone does not show up, gets sick, etc. If  your child is an alternate, we still really need you to come! You never know what can happen, so please make sure to come if you are in that situation! 

Thanks again for all of your patience, kindness, and team spirit on Thursday, I am sure the Pirates will do well again today! Finals Day is always a super proud day for all of our kids. Please let me know if you have any questions, and hang in there for just a couple more days! Then we can all kick back at the banquet on Saturday and enjoy celebrating all of our amazing swimmers on this super special team.
