Thanks to all of our awesome volunteers who worked so hard in the heat for so long to make the KRC swim meet happen! We could not have pulled it off without you. Everyone showed up where they were supposed to be, and it makes me proud of our little team to run such a tight ship of volunteers. Please RSVP for the next 2 meets HERE.

Also please RSVP for the Smoky Mountain Invitational as well so the coaches know who we will have and who may be out of town.

A quick note- While I know many of you are swimming practices but may not feel ready to participate in meets, please consider swimming in them, even if your child just swims one or two events, especially when the meets are at home if you are in town. Peninsula Club is small, and every person that shows up counts at a meet. 

We had a younger swimmer swim a 25 free at the meet last night, and he had a blast. His mother said he wanted to swim all the events now! Stories like that are why I love being involved in summer swim at Peninsula Club. We have never swam against Fox Den, at least in the years I have been volunteering with Peninsula Club, and I hope we have a big turnout, the meets are much more fun when we have lots of swimmers! 

Thanks again for all of your patience and help yesterday at the meet, I know it is a lot, especially for new parents!
